In 2019, we decided to acquire a Land Rover Defender TD4 110 2.4L SVX from 2008, which quickly turned into our first overland family vehicle for an unforgettable journey. From starting with a sports car and a simple tent to transforming Land Rovers into luxurious mobile homes, we've embraced comfort and adventure every step of the way! Hi there! I'm Rose, a licensed secondary school teacher from the beautiful Philippines! With over 7,641 stunning islands, my country boasts an incredible landscape filled with vibrant cities, lush forests, breathtaking beaches, enchanting wildlife, and awe-inspiring volcanoes! Growing up amidst these natural wonders, my family and I made unforgettable memories, especially on weekends by the sea, indulging in the delightful flavors of our local cuisine.
The Philippines is like a cultural smoothie, blending flavors from Indonesian, Malaysian, Chinese, Spanish, Mexican, and American cuisines—delicious, right? And with over 111 dialects alongside English, our vibrant diversity makes it an extraordinary place to call home!
My adventure took a twist when I found myself in Switzerland, where I earned my master's degree in Health Policy and gained invaluable experience in the healthcare industry. While I enjoyed the chocolate and cheese, I realized my Asian heritage was the secret sauce to my identity. So, I decided to grab my partner and explore the world—because why not? Life is too short, and the world is wide.

Greetings, I'm Thomas, your not-so-average Swiss adventurer! Growing up surrounded by Switzerland’s breathtaking mountains, stunning lakes, and vibrant cities ignited my passion for adventure from an early age. From rock climbing and snowboarding to travelling the world, camping, and windsurfing, these experiences have shaped my outlook on life. A huge shoutout to my parents for nurturing my adventurous spirit and to the Boy Scouts for teaching me survival skills that sparked my love for vehicles—from my childhood bicycle to a Lotus Elise and then a Caterham!
With over 30 years in the IT industry, managing medium to large-sized teams at the corporate level has taught me the value of balancing comfort with adventure. My journey took an exciting twist when I first bought a 6x6 Truck Duro for expeditions, but soon realized it was too big for my global explorations. In 2019, I took a daring step and got a Land Rover Defender TD4 110, a true embodiment of freedom and adventure that transformed my life!
Today, I’m on a quest to own more Land Rover Defenders, enjoying the challenge of choosing the right spare parts, balancing luxury with weight, and debating between glamping and traditional camping.
